Yung Gravy and bbno$ Give Boston Something to Talk About

“You talkin’ ‘bout Tracy?” On November 16, Boston wasn’t just talking about Tracy, they were also buzzing about Yung Gravy and bbno$ who were headlining MGM Fenway.

Before the sold-out crowd got lost in the sauce, they were treated to a powerpoint driven set from DJ TIIIIIIIIIIP sweetened with Cosmic Brownies and Zebra Cake giveaways, as well as the old skool sound of Terror Reid.

Cuphead-esque, “rubber hose” animation welcomed the duo to the stage.

Between Gravy’s new album Marvelous, bbno$’s extensive discography, and five years worth of collaborating, the two had a lot of field to cover. However, before the Gravy Train could chug ahead, bbno$ addressed the elephant in the room, “So what’s up with you and Addison Rae’s Mom?” A question which Gravy bashfully dodged.

With the important questions out of the way, the duo began their energetic and eclectic set with “Welcome to Chilis,” an OG collaboration. Other setlist collaborations included new releases like the earworm “C’est La Vie,” as well as “Boomin’.”

When they weren’t performing collaborations, each took their own turn on the stage to perform songs that provided the TikTok soundtracks for the past two years like bbno$’s “edamame” and Yung Gravy’s “oops!”

The crowd also moshed under a disco ball to “Whip A Tesla,”  “Betty (Get Money),” and “Lalala,” while archival footage played on a screen upstage.

While Yung Gravy and bbno$ were performing the hits, they were also showering the crowd with cook books, Lunchables, Fruit Loops, and fake money. In return, the audience threw 25 plus undergarment offerings on the stage.

“Thank you Boston for going absolutely crazy,” Gravy told the crowd before closing out the night.

After that show, the crowd definitely had something to talk about.
