This week, TikTok creator and artist, Nessa Barrett played her first two shows ever at Los Angeles’ Moroccan Lounge.
Fans lined up outside the venue excited and eager to see Nessa’s first career performance. Some fans even began waiting outside two days prior to the Saturday night show.
Nessa prepared a show debuting her EP ‘Pretty Poison’ for the crowd. Nessa felt the love from the dedicated audience and began to cry after receiving flowers from a fan.
Later in the show, Jaden Hossler, Nessa’s boyfriend, came out to sing “La Di Die.” The song was the couple’s first song released back in February of this year. Fans went crazy as the couple shared a quick kiss and matching cowboy hats.
Nessa took a moment to acknowledge the lives lost at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival the previous Friday. She said, “I saw what happened last night and I’m very fucking pissed off.” She continued on and reassured fans on how they should feel safe at a show, “Music is supposed to help us heal not fucking kill us. If you come to a show to see an artist you should feel safe.”
Nessa went on to finish her show for the engaged crowd. Fans sang out every word and the energy in the room was full of love for Nessa.
