Justus Bennetts recently dropped a new single, “Don’t Trip,” featuring GAYLE. The alt/pop track includes a catchy guitar riff and head-bangable rhythm bound to hype up any gathering.
After 21-year-old Bennetts’ last single, “Cool Kids,” caught the attention of a young, rebellious audience ready for something new, the artist delivered just that with his newest track. Fit with angsty lyrics and danceable chorus, the track highlights what letting go and just living feels like.
Riding the high from her hit “abcdefu” breaking into the top ten of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, 17-year-old GAYLE brings her high energy and powerful vocals to the track, accenting those of Bennetts.
The track was also released with an accompanying music video that depicts the pair of artists wreaking havoc at a diner. Dancing, singing, eating, doing anything besides restaurant work, the two epitomizing the fun-loving nature of the song.
Together the pair are full of teenage angst and create music for anyone who might be feeling like an outsider.
Justus Bennetts is set to appear at 10 of GAYLE’s shows on her Feeling It Together Tour and you can find tickets here.
