Ellie Goulding is back!! You might ask why we say “back,” that’s because the British songstress hasn’t released any original music in three years. Last year she teamed up with Kygo on his song “First Time” but the last album Goulding released was her successful Delirium album. Though she may not be alone on this song, she is coming through to party with Diplo and Swae Lee.
“Close to Me” is a love song that is set against an electronic beat and acoustic guitar melodies. It’s sort of soft but definitely a little cocky. This song will hit the spot for those looking for new songs to sing along to in the car. Swae Lee is smooth on his one verse and Goulding is as magnetic a force as ever.
