Tik Tok star, Peach PRC is not one to shy away from a good story. Since 2019, Peach has been sharing 60 second snippets of her unbelievably true and humorous adventures. In the past, those stories have inspired viral songs, including “Blondes” and “Colourblind.” Her latest release under her newly inked deal with Republic Records and Island Records Australia is the bold official debut, “Josh.”
When Peach first shared the honest and playful first verse on her TikTok, her 1.2 million followers related to the scenario of an ex that just does not get the clue to “f*ck off.”
“I was a bit down when I was writing one day. My ex, Josh, kept calling me over and over again. He called all of the time, because he was trying to get back with me. I thought I had blocked him though. Since he didn’t stop bothering me, I wrote the song about him. It’s a true story, but it’s still meant to be fun and colorful,” Peach shared of the inspiration.
This is only the beginning for the Australian singer and songwriter who is in the studio working on more of her self-proclaimed “girly camp pop” songs.
