In the midst of the heatwave, Ross and Rocky Lynch of The Driver Era are cooling things down with their laid-back summer song, “Malibu.” The song came out right as they started tour, giving fans a brand new song to look forward to.
‘Malibu’ is the first track that Ross and Rocky Lynch have collaborated with songwriter, Griff Clawson, on. The brothers admitted in a recent interview that they knew they wanted the song to sound like it should be played at the beach, which may be the reason it was given the name ‘Malibu’.
In the interview with Dork, the brother duo said “Malibu is about reminiscing on experiences in the best locations. It’s about getting away. It’s the spontaneous trip you take with someone – maybe you knew them before, or maybe you’re meeting them for the first time.”
Take a drive up PCH if you can and stream “Malibu” now!
