Australian indie-rockers Spacey Jane’s first-ever Boston show was not one to miss. With resale ticket prices reaching $150, their highly anticipated sold-out show at Brighton Music Hall was the place to be on Friday night.
A packed venue eagerly awaited the band’s Boston debut, following an opening set by Joe P. As soon as the first chord of “Sitting Up” played, the crowd was instantly captivated.
Singer Caleb Harper entered the stage to a roaring crowd, and it became apparent that this energy would continue throughout the night.
Song after song, an enthralled audience watched as the band played through their set. Spacey Jane’s show had something for everybody: loyal fans sang along to the classics, including “Sawteeth” and “Thrills”. Newer fans already knew all of the lyrics to the band’s 2022 release, “Here Comes Everybody”.
From the band members’ infectious energy to an exciting setlist that spanned their discography, Spacey Jane proved to Boston that they’re an act worth seeing.
