Brooklynne Webb has created a community on social media through living unapologetically, and embracing self-love and wellness. Now the TikTok sensation and content creator is bringing that empowering message into her music with her debut single, “My Crown,” and its remixes.

We chatted with Brooklynne about what inspired the single, the music video, and what to expect next!

You made your musical debut with your single “My Crown.” What was the inspiration behind that song?

The inspiration behind “My Crown” was to create something that felt super recognizable! It needed to be its own pop song but still, have this super pop princess feel to it!

What was the production process like?

The production process was super fun! When working with the writers and producer, we all bounced off of each other’s ideas and created something with the exact energy it was meant to have!

What was it like reinterpreting the single with a comedic twist on your parody EP, My Crown: The Album?

Reinterpreting the single had to be the funniest thing I had heard all year. We got the idea and the next thing I knew, I was listening to random remixes of my own song and picking names to put them on an album. It was so fun hearing it in so many different ways.

Where did the concept for the Mean Girls and Legally Blonde inspired music video come from?

I’ve always had a love for the classic girly fun movies of the 1990’s/2000’s, so I really wanted to pull that into the music video. There are a lot of iconic moments in these movies, so I wanted to pull some of the energy into the music video!

What do you hope listeners take away from listening to  “My Crown”?

I hope listeners realize no one can take a piece of your crown! It’s cheesy but we all have our own crowns, don’t try to break someone else’s just to get a piece. People will always try to break you down but just keep moving forward!

Your mantra is “I am unapologetically me.” How does that authenticity that fans see on your TikTok and Instagram influence your music?

With music, I create what I want to express and love to give a message, even if it’s covered under some silly stuff! I will forever have anything I create be something that really resonates with me.

If you could set fans up in the perfect environment to listen to the single, what do you imagine it looking like?

The perfect environment to listen to the single in would be honestly a castle! We’re in a huge ballroom then all of a sudden “My Crown” comes on. It would be so silly but so fun.

What can fans look forward to next?

I have a lot in the works right now, but you’ll really have to pay attention this Christmas! Fun things ahead!

What is one quote that you have heard or that you go by that you want to ECHO out to the world?

I am unapologetically me.
