On July 15, Young Franco released “Like That”, his fourth collaborative effort with US-based rapper Pell. The track, which also features soul and house producer Jafunk, is a chill groove perfect for summer.

Young Franco and Pell are a dream team for rap music, bringing lyrical prowess to a club track. This single follows their other collaborative successes such as “Juice” and “Fallin’ Apart”, which featured in an Apple Airpods campaign. “Like That” continues to bring eloquent lyrics and a rich sonic background to their style.

“Like That” is a laid-back bop about meeting a woman on a night out. The drum rhythm has a bounce that makes the single easy to dance to. When paired with suave guitar and lilting keys, the track seamlessly pairs with Young Franco and Pell’s smooth voices.  A female voice can be heard in parts of the chorus, corresponding with lyrics like, “I just want a cutie with some dollars and a dream” and giving the song a flirty feel. “Like That” predicts a bright future for the music this duo will create.
