Nightly Wears Their Heart on Their Sleeve in D.C.

Nightly’s Wear Your Heart Out tour came to Washington D.C. on November 11. With support from their openers, Young Rising Sons and Knox, Nightly brought their singular energy to 9:30 Club.

From the moment the trio, composed of lead singer Johnathan Capeci, guitarist Joey Beretta, and drummer Nicholas Sainato, walked on stage, their vivacious energy and unique talents had the audience instantly hooked.

The crowd listened and sang along to all the hits from Nightly’s sophomore album wear your heart out, including the title track, as well as “the feeling” and “dry eyes.” While the main focus was this most recent release, Nightly also performed some classics like the iconic “Black Coffee,” “dirty white chucks,” “Twenty Something,” and “the movies.” With such a diverse discography, Nightly took the audience through so many emotions in such a short period.

Mid-set, the trio invited opener Knox back out to perform their collaboration, “Missed When You Missed Me.” Nightly, with the help of Knox, kept their distinctive spirit right through to “like i do.”

From the music to the energy, audiences will most certainly wear their heart out on this tour! Grab your tickets here.
