Singer-songwriter Mandy Moore is prepping to release her new album In Real Life on May 13. Ahead of the debut, Moore has dropped the title track “In Real Life” priming listeners for the album to come.
Ethereal synth sounds reminiscent of 80s pop accompany Moore’s strong vocals to ensnare the listeners in a catchy track. The mellow, dewy tone of the single is accented by strings and flowy guitar tracks making it an easy listen.
Moore’s previous album Silver Landings was her first in over 10 years and the artist is gliding along her creative journey from the propulsion of the 2020 release. The track, as well as the remainder of the album, reflects on huge life changes including releasing her previous album on the brink of the pandemic and parenthood.
Moore also announced an extensive North America tour set to kick off this summer and is planning on performing at the Newport Folk Festival in July. Tour dates and tickets can be found here.
