Southern California singer/songwriter Griff Clawson released his sophomore single “2Lovely.”
“This song is really about that moment when you realize something is too good to be true, but enjoying it while it lasts. When I wrote this song, I was thinking about a moment in a recent relationship I had where I thought, wow “as good as this is right now, I know it won’t last forever,” shared Clawson.
This 2021 alternative pop track closely follows Clawson’s breakout acoustic-pop debut single “Chasing Highs.” Acoustic guitar is combined with Clawson slowly poured lyrics to create an addicting and haunting musical piece.
After entering the music scene with contributing vocals on tracks such as ARTY, Matoma, Devault, Manilla Killa and Boombox Cartel, Clawson carved his solo path.
Clawson notes that the music video for “2Lovely” explores the idea that sometimes things can look calm on the surface, despite what is going on underneath.
