If you’ve got a “Soft Spot” for Indie and Alt-Rock, you’ll love Claud. That fondness was clear with the crowd that piled into Boston’s Brighton Music Hall on March 27th.
From the moment Claud first stepped on stage, they had the audience captivated.
The crowd was quick to engage when Claud kicked things off with their song “Overnight.” This song makes you feel like you’re in a 90’s Rom-Com Movie with its punchy bass and glittery synths.
The indie rocker sped things up with upbeat songs like “If I Were You,” and slowed things down with the soothing sounds of their guitar on her newest single “Tommy.” The crowd was absolutely mesmerized with Claud’s boundless vocal range and complex lyricism.
Claud’s interaction with the crowd was quite the ethereal experience. They have mastered the perfect balance between colorful, vibrant songs you’d want to dance to all night, to songs that you could easily have a good cry to. Seeing some teary eyes in the crowd during “Wish You Were Gay” really showed how influential Claud’s music is. The connection between Claud and their fanbase is undeniable, and their inclusivity and sense of familiarity makes fans feel comfortable enough to express their raw emotions with ease.
Claud’s ability to perform and make others feel seen has created a fanbase and show like no other.
