In the three years since dance/electronic artist Kid Froopy released his first piece of original music, he has been remixing artists; including Mike Posner and Carly Rae Jepsen and producing for artists like Terror Jr. and Shawn Wasabi.
Fans’ wait for more of his original music ended on March 6 when Froopy released his second single, “Some Nights I Feel Like Crying,” off his upcoming debut album, Silver Silver. The upbeat track that blends 90s pop, country, and rock was written and produced by Froopy. The single’s release is paired with a music video that features a series of collected images highlight news and pop-culture. “I found myself collecting images while I was writing,” Kid Froopy said on the process of creating the video. “I tried to go on intuition and not think too much. I don’t know what they add up to, but I like how it feels.”
So, some night…maybe tonight take in the video and single and keep your eye out for Kid Froopy’s 10 track LP, Silver Silver which will be released in Spring 2020.
