Norwegian popstar Anna of the North released her latest single, “I Do You” in anticipation of her third studio album, Crazy Life, releasing on November 4.
The track offers insight to an intimate and sensitive side of the artist.
“Too many times have I been in the situation where I put other people before myself,” Anna said. “We say that we’re own worst enemy and I’m definitely mine. I wish that I could see myself from another perspective. I wish that I could look at myself like I look at others… if I did me, like I do you.”
Crazy Life features 11 tracks, all of which bring a different experience and look into Anna’s world. The artist says this album allowed her to find comfort in vulnerability by inviting listeners into her world.
Anna of the North was recently added to the soundtrack release of the original motion picture, Rosaline, a comedic twist on Romeo and Juliet. The soundtrack features “Dancing on my Own” and “Escape.”
The popstar has also added two intimate performance dates in celebration of the album. She performs at Baby’s All Right in New York City on November 14 and at the Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles on November 16.
