Danish-born artist, Galimatias released his new single “Laying Low,” This release follows his summer full-length album ‘Renaissance Boy.’
“‘Laying Low’ is the introvert’s anthem. For all of those who revel in escaping social obligations,” says Galimatas.
Opening with plucked synths that lead to a jazz-flecked piano, “Laying Low” is a composition of airy vocals and downtempo melancholic lyrics. Galimatias music feels and sounds as if it was filtered from the confines of a dream, exuding a distant sound quality.
After his 2015 collaboration with Alina Baraz for their Urban Flora EP, this now LA Based artist retreated from the spotlight to refine his producing and vocal skills. After his self imposed hibernation, Galimatias has slowly been releasing singles that have a uniquely fresh and revitalized feel.
