Momma and Blondshell Rock Out At Spotify’s “Marrow” Concert at Baby’s All Right

Pop-rock band Momma co-headlined with Blondshell at Baby’s All Right in NYC last week as part of a one-off Spotify-sponsored concert promoting the playlist “Marrow”. The new Spotify-curated playlist for indie alt-rock songs launched earlier this year and features the likes of the two headlining acts, as well as IDLES, Paramore, Boygenius, and more.

Momma kicked the show off by playing many songs off their first three albums, and a few new tracks. They announced during the set that their new song “Ohio All the Time” would be released in a few hours at midnight of October 22. The band has not played many shows over the past few years and their fans were extremely excited to be seeing them live and playing new music.

Blondshell also had an exciting announcement to make during her set, declaring that she has finally finished her second record. The New York-born singer-songwriter released her debut album last year, but has already kicked off her next album cycle with this summer’s angsty single “What’s Fair”. Between Blondshell’s raw lyricism and Momma’s skillful guitar shredding, Spotify put on an exciting night of powerful female rock performances at their “Marrow” show.
