Los Angeles based pop singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Michael Lanza released his new single “Drive.”
Through cinematic strings and a trap-influenced beat, Lanza blends various instruments to create a mesmerizing track.
Inspired by his decision to drop out of college to pursue music, Lanza’s new track speaks to dreams and their unhindered pursuit.
“Taking action and moving forward into a better future. There will always be people who try to convince you that your dreams are too big, or that you are not capable of achieving certain goals. This song is about taking the first step away from those people, and not letting them slow you down,” says Lanza.
As a self-taught producer with a clear understanding of the human experience, Lanza also released his new EP “Human.” Both created with a relatable thread, it is appropriate that “Drive” and “Human” were released on the same day.
Lanza’s “Lion” track, co-produced with GhostDragon and Ron Reeser, landed him a #23 breakout on Billboard’s Dance chart and his single “Burn” was featured in ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians,’ season 17.
