Indie singer-songwriter Zach Taylor known by the moniker Dreamer Boy is rediscovering himself and his southern roots on his third full-length album Lonestar.
After visiting his grandfather’s farm, the native Texan realized that he had become disconnected from the place that had once been so ingrained in who he was. Feeling lost and nostalgic, and a bit bruised from fresh heartbreak, he turned to music. Not only did he rediscover himself, but he also created a twelve track album in the process. Like a tall glass of sweet tea, the album is honeyed with a harmonious blend of indie and country and includes features from Miya Folick, Goldie Boutilier, and fellow Texans Hovvdy.
This summer, Dreamer Boy and the Lone Stars are bringing a little bit of southern hospitality to 19 cities across the United States. Contributing photographer Donovan Jermyn captured the show at The Sinclair in Cambridge on June 9.
