Following the release of their intrepid new album, “I’M NOT AFRAID OF MUSIC ANYMORE,” COIN has fearlessly embarked on their North American headlining tour with Aidan Bissett. On October 27, the crowd at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway came along for the ride.
The record, which originally found its name through the wise words of producer Gabe Simon’s (Dua Lipa, Noah Kahan, Lana Del Rey) 6 year old daughter, is “a conceptual snapshot of honesty and vulnerability,” says frontman Chase Lawrence. Bold and unapologetic, the making of the record has shifted Lawrence’s personal and artistic perspective, “I’m not afraid of music anymore because we are not afraid of where we are anymore.”
Boston’s 24-song setlist showcased the band’s candidness through songs “Talk Too Much,” and the album’s focus track “Along For The Ride.”
