After Black Pumas kicked off the 65th Newport Folk Festival, the Grammy nominated duo returned to New England on their headlining tour with Lamont Landers. On August 2, Eric Burton and Adrian Quesada took to the Leader Bank Pavilion stage on Boston’s waterfront.
With a backdrop of the harbor, Black Pumas performed a 16 song setlist that spanned their seven year discography. Among the songs were selections from their sophomore album “Chronicles of a Diamond,” released last Fall, and a cover of Otis Redding’s (Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay.”
