After a year of legal battles, Daniel Seavey is the first member of the boy-band, Why Don’t We, to tour solo. The band has been trying to tour their 2020 album, The Good Times and The Bad Ones, last year, but with legal issues at their label, they couldn’t.
We all know Seavey for being talented, with being able to play multiple instruments under his belt, his songwriting, and his insanely improved voice, Seavey is on already a rising star in the industry alone with this solo tour. Seavey performed original songs such as “Can We Pretend That We’re Good?” “Nothing Is Ever True,” “Goodbye,” “Bleed on Me, “Fall Into You” and more. Of course he covered a Why Don’t We Song, “Fallin'” which was as energetic as one could hope. An unexpected cover was his rendition of “Hallalujah,” a powerful rendition with his soft, powerful voice and his looping skills having that intense build up in the song at the end.
Seavey’s energy was off the roof, moving seamlessly from one side of the stage to the other. He interacted with fans in the front row, even signing a fan’s poster. He also performed on the side of The Fonda towards the end of his set. From playing cello, to looping and playing a highly active set, Daniel Seavey is definitely an artist to watch.
With Seavey being the first one to tour, we wonder, will the other members from the follow foot soon as well?
