Alec Benjamin is here with his talented songwriting to help calm us with his magical lyrics that will make all your self quarantines a little better.
On Thursday, the singer-songwriter, 25, released a timely song called “Six Feet Apart,” written about the current ongoing global novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The title references the CDC’s social distancing guidelines, which state that people must stay at least six feet apart from others.
Written in his family home while in quarantine, Benjamin says of the song: “I wrote this song about social distancing and feeling isolated. I wanted to let people know that they aren’t alone!”
The track comes on the heels of his lead single “Oh My God” from his upcoming debut album These Two Windows, out May 29th. The songwriter first premiered the song on social media last week after writing and producing it entirely over FaceTime.
