There’s no other word to describe Walk The Moon’s live show besides electric when thinking about the show they played at The Strand Ballroom in Providence, RI.
They’re still growing as they prepare for opening on tour for Muse, but their music is unavoidable. With hits such as “Shut Up and Dance” and “One Foot” constantly playing on the radio, it is hard not to enjoy the quartet’s infectious vibe.
Walk the Moon put on one of the best shows ever, hands down. The show felt fresh and young from start to finish, spacing out their big hits perfectly opening with “Lisa Baby” and then transitioning to their uniting song “Different Colors,” which made the whole audience feel like one big diverse family. They played the motivating “One Foot” song after which got everyone feeling unstoppable… if they just put “one foot in front of the other.” Playing their recent single “Timebomb,” which got the crowd jumping and then later playing “Shut Up and Dance” and finishing with their song that got them on the charts “Anna Sun.” The whole setlist felt like it was a setlist full of hits but also full of songs that fans loved genuinely.
For most of the show, it felt like you were in a music video or living a coming of age music montage, it made you feel relived and detached from everyday stresses.
Everything about the show was amazing, the different colors in lights and the energy they brought to the stage. Walk the Moon is a must see band live. To see where they’re playing next check out a list of their tour dates below!
