David Gray, the multi-GRAMMY-nominated British singer-songwriter, kicked off his 2025 “Past & Present” World Tour at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, MA.
Gray was joined by Sierra Spirit from Tulsa, Oklahoma who brought her unique blend of folk-pop to the stage, drawing from her rich cultural heritage as a member of the Otoe-Missouria and Keetoowah Cherokee tribes. Spirit performed songs from her debut EP, coin toss, released in October, as well as the hauntingly beautiful track “better wild.” Spirit’s tender vocals and poignant lyrics captivated the audience, setting the perfect tone for Gray’s set.
Following Sierra Spirit’s mesmerizing set, Gray took the stage in celebration of his thirteenth studio album, Dear Life. He delivered a powerful performance that showcased his greatest hits like “Babylon,” alongside new tracks including ‘Plus and Minus.’
Gray’s soulful voice filled the venue, creating an electrifying atmosphere as fans sang and danced along. His deep connection with the crowd is a testament to the timeless quality of his songs.
