GRAMMY nominated, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Shawn Mendes and GRAMMY nominated Cuban born multi-platinum singer/songwriter Camila Cabelloreunite for their fiery new single, “Señorita”, today via Island Records/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The song was written by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello alongside Andrew Watt, Benny Blanco, Ali Tamposi, Charli XCX, Jack Patterson, and Cashmere Cat. “Señorita” was produced by Andrew Watt & Benny Blanco, with additional production by Cashmere Cat.
The duo haven’t released a song together since their 2015 hit “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and I guess from their new song and music video for “Señorita” we do know what they did.
To coincide with the new single, Shawn and Camila also released the official music video for “Señorita”, directed by Dave Meyers, today. The video shows Cabello as a waitress while Mendes is a guitar-slinging, motorcycle riding customer and later the two become involved.
