It is not often that you come across a nostalgic sound like Philmon Lee’s. His sound is a little bit of Elvis and Lynyrd Skynyrd mixed with powerhouse vocals that rival Sam Smith.
Since signing to Epic Records in 2020, the Georgia singer/songwriter has been pouring emotion and honesty into five singles showcased in his debut EP ‘706.’
With nods to his area code and roots, the project spans from his wistful single “Memories” to the raw “Meaningless.”
A sun-soaked visual for “Meaningless” also accompanied the release. The viewer follows Lee through a country home, while pouring his heart into every lyric.
With high praise from fellow GA artists Young Thug and Gunna, the future looks bright for Lee.
