Stalking Gia Shares Message of Self-Love in “Worship”

New York-based alt-pop songstress Stalking Gia released her new single “Worship.”

Co-written by Gia and Zac Barnett of American Authors, the track integrates Gia’s hypnotic vocals, cloudy organ notes, and light percussion, to express a message of self-love.

The accompanying music video, threaded with lyrics such as “If I could worship me, like you worship me.” features a variety of Gia personalities, including a tied up version encased within a TV.

“Worship” is a sample of her immersive project, SEASON ONE, that will be released later in 2021.  The project will include episodic installments. “This is just a period in my life captured in a collection of songs,” says Gia.

Stalking Gia first emerged with her single “Second Nature.” Achieving viral success, the track organically amassed close to 12 million Spotify streams and paved the way for other singles such as “Siren” and blackbear collaborations. Affirming herself as the femme fatale we need in 2021, Gia notes that “I want you to get lost in my music. I’d love to give everyone a euphoric experience. Shut off the outside world and dive into my fantasy. Maybe you can even feel inspired and magical like I do.”
