“Get Myself Over You” is the second single from Toronto based singer/songwriter, Dawson Gamble.
The track shares Gamble’s experience of relationship loss and recovery. “It’s funny to me, the process of getting over someone. No matter what you’re doing during your day, there’s this one person who your thoughts fall back to. It drove me crazy that no distraction was enough to stop thinking about her, even knowing in the back of my mind she’s not the one. ”
The catchy lyrics, rich guitar and beats combine to make the perfect summer evening song, which is showcased in an accompanying music video with Gamble standing at the end of a dock singing and strumming his guitar.
