Overcoats Win Over Boston Audience

When indie band, Overcoats took the stage at Boston’s House of Blues, they were greeted by  the hum of conversation and scattered cheers.

However, Hana Elion and JJ Mitchell quickly engaged the crowd with fast paced jams like “The Fool” and serene songs like “The Fog.” The band’s guitar riffs, drum beats and smooth voices revealed their immense talent and minutes into the set the duo emmased a room full of new fans.

Elion and Mitchell’s friendly and casual approach was seen in their interactions with each other, their music and in the way they conversed with the reved crowd.

When Overcoats performed a Red Hot Chili Peppers medley and a cover of Hozier’s “Cherry Wine” the full venue went wild and the set wrapped to thunderous applause.

Don’t miss Overcoats on their upcoming tour this April!
