Australian songwriter and social media influencer Nicholas Hamilton and California native SAVS released their new single “noRoom.”
Hamilton’s velvet voice and SAVS’ airy vocals meld seamlessly with guitar sequences and a rhythmic beat. Strategically positioned swells and builds contribute to the track’s addictive and unique quality.
This past July the collaborative duo wrote “noRoom” during a “songwriting retreat” at a Visalia, Airbnb.” We were just chatting about life and realized how our recent breakups were very similar. Both of our partners didn’t have enough room in their heads or hearts for us, even though they claimed to want to. That feeling of having to let go and be, essentially, put on hold by someone while they go figure themselves out is so uncomfortable, almost like a limbo. You feel like you can’t see anyone else because there might still be a chance it’ll work so you wait for them, even if they explicitly tell you not to. noRooms aims to dig deep into that emotional experience,” says SAVS.
Hamilton is best known for his roles in It (2017), It Chapter Two (2019), and Captain Fantastic (2016). His debut single, ‘Different” garnered over 20k streams. SAVS began her music career as a background singer in Nashville, Tennessee. In true Gen Z fashion, the pair met on Instagram Hamilton notes that “it was a perfect match.”
