Toronto-based indie-pop trio, Navigate the Sky, recently released their latest single and lyric video for “Is It Just Me?”.

This new song, written in collaboration with BRDGS, is about chasing your dreams, despite rejection, self-doubt, and the worst odds. After the worldwide impact of COVID-19, the group notes that the song’s introspective lyrics took on greater significance. “Little did we know how true our words would resonate only months later,” said trio singer Brendan DiStefano.

Earlier this year the group also wrote and produced their first 2020 song, “Something Different,” which showcased Navigate the Sky’s unique and relevant sound which utilized drums, vintage synthesizers and guitar samples.

Since 2018 and the group’s debut release “Small Talk,”  Brendan DiStefano [singer], Shane Penhale [guitarist], and Josh Podolak [drummer/programer] have effortlessly collaborated to find a solid identity, created 6 EPs and amassed over 950,000 streams worldwide. The group’s unbelievable success has led them to share the stage with acts such as Tokyo Police Club, Virginia to Vegas, Honors, Tyler Shaw, NeonDreams.

Navigate the Sky is certainly “Something Different” and a new group to watch.
