Dua Lipa and BLACKPINK Release Bilingual “Kiss and Make Up”

Dua Lipa’s “Complete Edition” of her self-titled album is here! Her latest single with the popular K-pop girl group BLACKPINK comes with the new release and it is a jam!

The album and song was released worldwide on Friday, October 19th. The new song is a vibrant, rhythmic bilingual dance track about trying to “Kiss and Make Up” before a relationship ends in a break up. The song is built around repetition of the title phase, but it’s a good repetition, it thrives off the vocals of the five women’s addictive vocals on top of a track that has an addictive beat with what sounds like sirens blaring in the back. The members from BLACKPINK; Jisoo, Rosé, Lisa and Jennie as they sing both Korean and English along with Dua Lipa’s powerful voice make the song what it is, a party jam.

It’s the first time the two acts have worked together and it’s the first time BLACKPINK has been featured as a while on another artist’s album.
