Carrie Underwood’s “My Gift” Album Is An Early Christmas Present

You may be saying it’s early to start listening to Christmas music, but when it’s Carrie Underwood singing it’s never too early.

The country queen dropped her holiday album, My Gift, an early yuletide present featuring 10 holiday classics and an original “Let There Be Peace.”

John Legend guests on the track “Hallelujah” and Isaiah Fisher on “Little Drummer Boy.”

This is Underwood’s first Christmas LP. “I’ve always wanted to make a Christmas album and it’s been a long time coming,” she said when the album was announced in recent weeks. “For me, it’s more important than ever to focus on the true meaning of Christmas in a project like this. Even though it has been a tough year for all of us, sometimes I feel like the greatest realizations can be inspired by the most difficult times, and make us more grateful fo things we do have and for what truly matters.”
